Thank you for taking the time to get to get to know me. My name is Darian Cochran and I am co-owner and Principal Broker of Avenue Realty, LLC. My wife, Amy Cochran, and I started our real estate careers in 2004 after purchasing our first home. I began my real estate career working for a few of the larger real estate companies. During my time at these companies I realized that home buying and selling was looked upon as purely a business transaction focusing on the company’s profit margin rather than the client. Amy and I decided the larger firms just were not a good fit for us. We started our careers in real estate to help our clients succeed and enjoy the home buying milestone. It was time to open a boutique real estate firm focusing on an environment where the home buying or selling process is personalized for each individual client and where the client comes first. We define success at Avenue Realty, LLC as providing a level of service where our clients feel comfortable and well informed throughout the process.
My previous work experience began in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. I spent a significant amount of my early career as a Director of Financial Management. I was in charge of operating and managing the resources for a two hundred and fifty million dollar organization. This experience taught me the importance of “sweating” the small stuff/details and being frugal with resources. As I transitioned to founding Avenue Realty, LLC, the financial management skills I gained are serving as a huge asset to my clients as we navigate through this monumental financial home buying or selling process.
I don’t consider myself a salesman. You won’t see me bragging about “me” and all my accomplishments in the real estate industry. What I give my clients is a consultant and advisor who will put their interests first, listen to their requirements, anticipate their needs, and make sure they are completely knowledgeable and comfortable before making a very important life decision. My clients should always feel as if they are my only client, whether that is responding to their calls or emails at 11:00pm or meeting them to see a home at 6:00am.
