As the year comes to an end, we wanted to update you about what went on at Avenue in 2021. We are so glad that we were able to come together like old times (or as much as possible) to spend time with each other and give back to our community. Last year was like none other, so we cherished the moments we got to share this year. Read below for some insight on Avenue in 2021 from Amy and Darian!
What was your favorite activity the Avenue Family did this year?
There are so many great moments to choose from, but it would have to be either the pumpkin carving event or holiday party. I would lean towards the holiday party because more people were there and when our entire group (or most of it) gets together it is always a great time. I love to see how everyone sincerely enjoys their time together. Some of us have been working together for 9 years. We have seen each other through a lot of stuff so when we can get together and laugh, it is a wonderful sight.
How did this year compare to last year around the office?
It has been great to see more people in and around the office. It was really difficult not being able to connect with everyone in 2020. We enjoy spending time together so when we couldn’t see our Realtors on a regular basis it was really difficult.
What Avenue was most thankful for in 2021?
I am thankful for the great group of people at Avenue, and I am thankful that they saw a lot of success in 2021. They are a hard-working group and deserve success!
How did Avenue give back this year?
Giving back is part of our business model. We believe strongly that we have a responsibility to give back to the community where we live and work. We did several things but what I am most proud of is co-sponsoring a piece of playground equipment at the soon to be built all-inclusive playground at Lake Monticello. The modifications they are making to the Lafayette playgroup will allow for children and adults with physical disabilities to be able to better access the facility.
Avenue wouldn’t be Avenue without our Realtors! We are thankful every day for the people we get to work with and call another family. The work they do, inside and outside of the office, leaves a lasting impact on our community and we couldn’t do it without them! Thank you, Avenue Team for making 2021 the best.
