Paw Nielsen

I am so pleased you have decided to learn more about me! My name is Paw Nielsen (pronounced Pow). I was originally born in Hadsten, Denmark and moved to the United States in 1980. My wife and I, along with our two daughters, moved to Charlottesville in 2013, and between our love of beautiful scenery, amazing wineries, and all-things-outdoors, we instantly fell in love with Virginia.

Throughout my professional career I have always had a passion for public service and making a difference in people’s lives. Whether it was as an Active-Duty Military Police Officer in the United States Army, as a Deputy Sheriff with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, as a 15-year American Red Cross CPR Instructor, or during my 12 years following, as a Safety & Security Director, I have dedicated my life to helping others. Now as a licensed Realtor® with Avenue Realty, I have the privilege of using all my experience and knowledge to continue helping others… just in a slightly different (and safer) way!
